Andy Garcia is the Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Golf teams at Capital University and a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified coach. TPI certification means Andy is trained to analyze how your body's movement patterns affect your swing — so lessons go beyond mechanics to address the physical root causes of common faults. Whether you're a beginner or a single-digit handicap, Andy brings a data-driven, personalized approach to help you play better golf. Garcia first arrived at Capital in Fall 2006 and golfed for four seasons (2006, 2008-11). He completed his playing career in Spring 2011, joined the coaching staff and simultaneously graduated with a degree in Psychology and minor in Health in Fall 2012. Garcia continues to compete in national tournaments year-round and serves as the head golf coach for Team Columbus, which competes at the Maccabi Games. In 2016, Team Columbus won the gold medal with Garcia at the helm. He also serves as rules official for the OHSAA district and sectional golf tournaments.

Emma Konopa joins Bexley Links staff as a resident collegiate golfer who captains the Capital Women’s Golf team. Prior to her time at Capital Emma competed at the State Championship in 2021, 2022, and 2023, compiling a 3rd place, 5th place, and 10th place team finishes. While at Capital Emma has been a 2-time All-Conference selection and shares 2 school records. She is native of Independence, Ohio and is actively studying Education at Capital University. Juggling academics and athletics Emma also splits her time working at Bexley’s School District after-school program. Emma mentors K-12 golfers with extensive experience dating back to her high school days.

A distinguished Class A PGA of America Professional, Tommy brings a wealth of experience from some of the nation's most prestigious golf facilities. His foundation in the industry was built at Campbell University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a specialized emphasis in PGA Golf Management. Immediately following his graduation in 2019, Tommy was elected to Class A membership with the PGA of America, a testament to his dedication and skill. His career has taken him to an impressive roster of golf clubs in the country, including: - Hudson National Golf Club in New York - Columbine Country Club in Colorado - Naples National Golf Club in Florida Throughout his tenure at these elite venues, Tommy developed a passion for teaching and mentoring junior golfers. His career uniquely combines a comprehensive, formal education with hands-on experience at the highest levels of the club industry.
